Hello everyone,
Hope everyone has had a great 2024! It's that season again (CBC season) and I wanted to let you know the date for the Clarence Cannon National Wildlife Refuge count this year will be Saturday January 4th. Due to a late duck season its a little later than normal this year.
For those who are not familiar with the Cannon CBC, the count does cover a number of public lands in both Missouri and Illinois including Clarence Cannon NWR, all 3 units of BK Leach conservation area, Prairie Slough conservation area, and the Plant Materials Center. It also covers a number of private lands and roads throughout the circle.
If you are interested in participating this year or have any questions, please let myself or Bruce Schuette (<basch...>) know as soon as possible to help assign areas. Thanks so much in advance for your help and hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season!!
