We are in Canaan Valley volunteering at the wildlife center visitor center. It is 15 degrees, blowing and snowing. We drove around the valley a bit and found three Hooded Mergansers on the Blackwater River branch where Cortland Road joins Beall Lane. The only other birds we have seen are American Crows - no Rough-legged Hawks so far. Herb Myers from Tucker County, WV
