I'm looking for two people with decent editorial skills and in-depth knowledge of local bird ecology and status to review nine new species accounts for the upcoming 4th edition of *Common Birds of Northwest California*, published by Redwood Region Audubon Society. The species are Blue-winged Teal, Eurasian Wigeon, Canvasback, Common Goldeneye, Hooded Merganser, Pigeon Guillemot, Red-necked Grebe, Purple Martin, and MacGillivray's Warbler; the coverage area is Del Norte, Humboldt, and Trinity Counties. Each account is three paragraphs long, with accompanying charts and photos. No compensation is available other than acknowledgment in, and a free copy of, the book.
