I believe there were two around (this and a fem-type), so I'll check my photos. Clearly larger than nearby Lessers, rounder and larger head. They were all off in the distance when I saw them on this checklist, but I should have photos of them on my other, earlier, checklist that hopefully are off the Greater."

Virginia's Warbler (Leiothlypis virginiae) (1)
- Reported Nov 22, 2024 15:30 by Janet Wright
- My backyard in Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, California
- Map: http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=p&z=13&<q...>,-119.4957376&<ll...>,-119.4957376 - Checklist: https://ebird.org/checklist/S203308265 - Comments: "Hopping around my backyard with other birds mentioned. Showed up with the Lincoln's Sparrow. I have two seed feeders, a hummingbird feeder, and a cup of dried worms. It seemed most interested in the worms, but also hopped around the ground picking up whatever he could find. He moved too quickly for a picture. I vacillated between Virginia's and Tennessee because the amount of gray vs. yellow, but Virginia's seemed to match best. It was mostly gray around the head, with a bib of yellow, gray belly and a yellow rump. Underside was light. Appeared to have a complete eye ring."
