Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Orchard Oriole Con’t with a Scott’s Oriole at the San Diego Zoo; and the Ovenbird Con’t at the Coronado Golf Course
Hi SD,

Curtis M and I had the continuing Orchard Oriole, Western Tanagers, and Hooded Oriole this morning in the Meerkat Lot 1, by the entrance where they’ve been previously reported, visiting the Coral Trees, Bottlebrush, Acacia, etc.

There was also an adult female/young male Scott’s Oriole that was traveling with the group.

Lastly, the Ovenbird at the Coronado Golf
Course continues (and super cooperative).

Happy Birding,
Sylvia Afable and Curtis Marantz :))

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
