Subject: [OrangeCountyBirding] Sage Thrasher on the path behind La Petite Academy at Bartlett Park
I was told that the bird originally reported by Doug Lithgow had been seen earlier in the morning, but it had not been seen since. About 9:43, the bird flew unto the wooden fence along the path across from the SE corner of the Academy fence where it sat for a while before dropping to the ground and foraging a bit. Then it flew behind the chain-link fence at the south end of the Academy where it disappeared.
I didn’t get coordinates when I saw the bird, but here are some from the parking lot, closest to the point where the bird flew. 33.673498, -117.987323
