As Arlene Koch mentioned yesterday, there are western hummingbirds being seen, caught, banded and identified in PA. To date, I have been able to band 4 rufous and 1 Allen's hummingbirds since the beginning of October in Centre, Berks, Lehigh and Bucks counties.
Put your feeders back out and contact me if you observe one of them.
