We have water our year-round; a shallow birdbath close to the ground that
chipmunks and squirrels can also access. This one is heated in freezing
temperatures. Also, a larger birdbath bowl that is popular for avian pool
parties with lots of splashing. Dumped and refreshed multiple times daily,
and scrubbed clean every few refills. Tipped out at night for now, but soon
will be brought in for the winter.
