I forgot to mention that the main reason for going out to Hi Lonesome on this day was that someone reported seeing a phoebe there on Saturday, not an Eastern Phoebe, that had pinkish flanks. I said it must be a Say's Phoebe, and I trust she has reported it to ebird now. I went out Saturday afternoon as well as Sunday morning to try to relocate the bird, but I was unsuccessful.
It was nice to be out, but I was very sorry I could not find the bird she saw.
