Subject: [sbcobirding] Lower Mission Canyon and Rocky Nook Park, Nov. 17
This morning, I walked all the way form my apartment in Samarkand to Rockyh Nook Park, stopping to bird along the way in the Natural History Museum's "Back yard". It was very birdy in all locations this morning, thought I turned up nothing rare.  Townsend's Warblers were especially evident.  I enjoyed watching a mixed species group bathing at the water feature in front of McVeigh house on the Museum.
Rocky NooK Park can sometimes be very dull, but not today in spite of groups of families enjoying the beautiful weather.   I paid particular attention to the spot where  Black-and-White Warbler was reported yesterday, but I could not turn it up.  However, I did turn up a Brown Creeper in the general area.
