Subject: [sbcobirding] Sagebrush Sparrow
We dipped.

I arrived at about 8:30 to be joined by three others bit later. After thorough search we gave up at about 1:00. We saw a handful of Bell’s Sparrows. There’s too much habitat to cover so we may have missed this needle in a haystack.

If you decide to try for it:

Scopes helpful.

The bird activity was dead until around 10:00.

The Bell’s Sparrows responded to playback.

If you wear shorts wear gators else your socks will be full of stickers.
