The King Eider continues to be seen today (Saturday) at Canton Lake. While I was there this morning (8:30-10 am) it was swimming along the dam from southwest to northeast, very close to the rocks. When I left the area it was approaching the beach at the northeast end of the dam. It was loosely associating with American Coots. No other birds were nearby. Elsewhere on the lake are rafts of scaup, redheads, and shovelers.
