Weather: Overcast to start the day becoming mostly sunny. A mix of cirrus and cumulus clouds helped with spotting most of the day. Northwest winds that were light in the morning and moderate in the afternoon.
Raptor Observations: A slow start to the day but a surge of red-shouldered hawks in the second hour. Red-shoulders continued throughout the day with a total of 54. Ten Red-tailed Hawks. Only thirty Turkey Vultures. Small numbers of other expected migrants.
Predictions: Tomorrow: Mainly sunny. High 61F. Winds NW at 10-20mph. A good wind direction, though a bit strong. Spotting will be difficult with the blue skies. Expect moderate migration.
Sunday: Partly to mostly cloudy. High 62F. Winds WNW at 5-10mph. Expect light to moderate migration.
