Just built a couple BirdNet-Pi 'systems'. Works fine. First couple days of operation said we had evening grosbeaks. We rarely get evening grosbeaks in our yard. Clearly a false ID. Next day looked out to see six EVGR at the water. Huh. Haven't seen the American tree sparrow it heard. The mcguirepr89 implementation has lots of web presence. https://github.com/mcguirepr89/BirdNET-Pi but I used the Nachtzuster version. https://github.com/Nachtzuster/BirdNET-Pi A good microphone is crucial. I ended up making a microphone system as described here: https://github.com/mcguirepr89/BirdNET-Pi/discussions/39#discussioncomment-2180372. Note a rather technical discussion.
