Geese calling overhead in the night last night. Ravens have been very
active here recently. Woodcock are still here in good numbers in the alder
patches. Grouse in the mixed woods. Immature bald eagle, tons of Canadas,
and two drake green-winged teal between Bradford and Newbury over the
weekend. Beautiful plumage on the drakes. Otherwise, the usual suspects
around the house as well as a fox and too many mice. I have my seed bags
and am awaiting the start date!
