Hi Bird Club,
There are two evening walks scheduled at the Arboretum. One is next Tuesday Nov 19 and the other is Friday Dec 13, both from 5:00 to 6:30. I have no idea if we will find birds or not, but it might be cool in more ways than one.
The access to the Centre Furnace duck pond is back to how it used to be. One drake Ring-neck was with the Mallards--I wonder if it's the same one that was showing up in the summer. Years ago a Ring-necked Duck hen stayed there long term as well--perhaps that's a coincidence or maybe there's something delightful about this spot for this species.
