Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] New Painted Redstart and Tropical Kingbird
Wednesday morning the 13th, there's a new Painted Redstart in town, this one along the east flank of Point Loma along San Fernando Road, specifically on both sides of the road around #511 San Fernando. Not long after dawn, there was a Tropical Kingbird loosely associated with a bunch of Cassin's in Liberty Station, where a TK has wintered many years in a row and so is likely a returning bird.

Speaking of returning, yesterday there was a returning adult male Vermilion Flycatcher behind the Mendoza elementary School in Nestor, were also a getting late Western Flycatcher.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
