Subject: [CT Birds] Chance to weigh in on the Restoration Plan for Bluff Point State Park and Preserve
The CT National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) has initiated an effort
to restore ecosystem function, public access, education and outreach at
Bluff Point State Park and Preserve.
They have two upcoming public meetings, one in person tonight at Fort
Trumbull, New London and a virtual meeting on Nov 20 at 3 PM. From the
NERR notice "We are interested in learning from the users of Bluff Point
about typical uses, barriers to use and access, and benefits of accessing
the park." Many of us consider this park extraordinary for many reasons.
Please consider voicing your concerns and vision.
