Subject: [VTBIRD] Great Horned Owl Addison County
This is a short video about a GHO in Addison County who survived
rodenticide poisoning, thanks to a volunteer wildlife rehabber:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RhQ6a3W9zM&<feature...>

The use of First and Second Generation Anticoagulant Rodenticides is
pervasive in Vermont, leading to untold numbers of non-targeted animals
like owls, hawks, bobcats, fisher and other wildlife being poisoned. 100%
of fisher recently sampled iby Vermont Fish & Wildlife tested positive for
rodenticide poisoning. The Agency of Agriculture has done little to address
this massive threat.

As a birding community, we have the power to urge the government to take
this issue seriously. If you are interested in getting involved, please
email me.

Thanks,
Brenna
