Yesterday morning, Nov. 12, I watched a Veery on Blue Haven Road for several minutes before it went out of sight. This was about a quarter mile past Temporal Wash, which is beyond the TNC visitor center. There are a pair of curvy arrow signs facing either direction and I saw the bird about 50 yards past them. Given its wintering grounds are in southern Brazil how long it’s going to be here is questionable. For those unfamiliar with the area, Blue Haven Road starts just past the TAS Paton Center For The Hummingbirds, which is easy enough to find.
