Chad & his scope very helpful for distant raptors. Weather: Less wind than predicted. 2-8 most of the day out of the WSW. Very balmy for Nov (12-18C). Clouds thankfully increased for the bulk of the day. Raptor Observations: First bird, Kestrel popped up and took a swipe at the owl. Slow start, 10:30-1:30 peak flight. Most of the birds were at limit of binocs with a few close, likely due to inconsistent, lighter winds. Nice eagle day. Most of the TVs & BVs were not counted (not using the ridge), several Balds and Red-tails also considered locals. Non-raptor Observations: Downy, Flicker, Pileated, Ravens, TVs, BVs, A.Crows, C.Wren, Winter Wren, Bluebird, B.Jay, Starlings. Robins, GC Kinglet, Chickadees, Juncos, Goldfinches, Cedar Wax, C.Geese. ======================================================================== Report submitted by Darrell Smith (<oleagleye...>) Jacks Mountain information may be found at:https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fsites.google.com%2Fsite%2Fjacksmountainhawkwatch%2Fhome&data=05%7C02%<7CScbirdcl...>%7Cd763a972198a4109e78908dd02aa6117%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C638669652975438250%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=%2FYIbvR6AUc%2Fc%2FMFAy%2B0jJplZVeffOBY%2Fon0k0kI8Xgo%3D&reserved=0 More site information at hawkcount.org: https://nam10.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fhawkcount.org%2Fsiteinfo.php%3Frsite%3D104&data=05%7C02%<7CScbirdcl...>%7Cd763a972198a4109e78908dd02aa6117%7C7cf48d453ddb4389a9c1c115526eb52e%7C0%7C0%7C638669652978407126%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJFbXB0eU1hcGkiOnRydWUsIlYiOiIwLjAuMDAwMCIsIlAiOiJXaW4zMiIsIkFOIjoiTWFpbCIsIldUIjoyfQ%3D%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=QCQw4FtY3Hbu6YQbxi1qu5b7GLq8kIfpFP98C6qlgj8%3D&reserved=0
