Visitors: Mike and his dog Max stopped by to help scan the skies for a while.
Weather: Pretty day with sun, blue sky and fair weather cumulus clouds. A steady wind from the west. The temperature peaked out at 70°F
Raptor Observations: A few migrants moving through. The local raptors were busy soaring in the breeze.
A juvenile plumaged Northern Harrier in the mid-afternoon was a nice treat.
Non-raptor Observations: One Monarch Butterfly moved through on this September-like day. Cedar Waxwings and two Ring-billed Guns were seen.
Predictions: A cold front moves through so a more seasonable day with strong north wind.
