V pleasant morning at the reserve. I did well on sparrows & saw a Winter Wren, always a treat. Another surprise was an E Phoebe which I haven’t seen for awhile there but it’s listed on the ebird list for Denison so ebird doesn’t think it’s rare. Only finches House & goldfinch.
Last evening I was on a dusk walk on the bike path when a killdeer flew over calling. Think it was a single bird—nearly dark do I couldn’t spot it. Don’t know if this is late for them.
