Raptor Observations: Tough spotting with the blue skies. Just over fifty migrating Turkey Vultures. Decent Bald Eagle activity with five counted as migrants. Four harriers and fourteen sharpies. Moderate Buteo action with 15 red-shoulders and 22 red-tails. The highlight of the day was around 10:20am when two large birds were spotted heading towards us. It was an immature Bald Eagle chasing an immature GOLDEN EAGLE. We got to watch the Golden Eagle for several minutes as it was chased around and then broke off and soared high overhead before gliding off.
