The Minnesota River Valley Audubon Chapter (MRVAC) invites you to join us for:
MRVAC HOLIDAY AUCTION
at The Richardson Nature Center
8737 E Bush Lake Rd, Bloomington
Thursday, November 14, 7 p.m.
The MRVAC auction will happen Thursday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Richardson Nature Center (8737 E. Bush Lake Road) in Bloomington. Doors open at 6 p.m.
The Minnesota River Valley Audubon Chapter’s holiday auction will be held this year Thursday, Nov. 14 at Richardson Nature Center in Bloomington! The auction begins at 7 p.m. Come any time after 6 p.m. to drop off your items to be auctioned, get first pick on low-priced books, get your bidding strategies down, and socialize a bit. There will be snacks and drinks and of course lots of really nifty things up for grabs. Doors open at 6 p.m. The auction ends at 9 p.m. Cash and checks accepted.
Books? Yep, dozens including many different nature topics and some field guides. We have a rare collection of Cornell Labs Birds of North American, a set of some 700 pamphlets by the top experts of each species. Art? You bet. There will be bird houses, feeders, and birdseed. Binoculars, including a brand-new pair of Viper (10x42) binoculars, that are top notch, donated by Vortex. We have bird houses and feeders. We have many non-birding gifts, including tickets to Minneapolis Institute of Art and Science Museum of Minnesota, stadium seats, and treats for your palate from Great Harvest and many home bakers. And, much, much more. Make sure you bring a shopping bag to bring your treasures home.
