Subject: [sbcobirding] Eastern Phoebe, Snow and Cackling Geese at Lake Jocelyn
Following up a report from Nancy Baron yesterday, I visited Lake Jocelyn in Carpinteria this morning. The two Snow Geese and the one Cackling Goose found by Nancy were both present, along with a bird I hadn't seen reported previously: an Eastern Phoebe. All three species were in the southeastern part of the lake, near where the private driveway meets Casitas Pass Road. The phoebe was vocalizing, which was fun to hear.

A nice male Wood Duck was also present.
