Weather:
Clear skies with some haze in the late morning from a fire up north, warm
temp 17-19C, very light N wind 5mph, visb 23km for most of the day.


Raptor Observations:
Our first ROUGH-LEGGED HAWK of the season far to the SW in the morning,
mostly Turkey Vultures, 4 Bald Eagles, several Harriers, a few
Sharp-shinned and Cooper's Hawk.
Difficult to find the birds in the blue sky.


Non-raptor Observations:
A HUGE feeding flock of Gannets (360), Brown Pelican (253), Cormorants and
gulls not far off shore in the late afternoon along with at least 2
Humpback Whales. Bufflehead, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Am Pipit,
Orange-crowned Warbler.
Monarch 1


Predictions:
Sunny, high 55F, N wind 15-25mph.
