Weather: Cloudless skies. Strong WNW winds. Hazy in the morning, clearing in the afternoon.
Raptor Observations: 30 migrating raptors. Many were off to the east side and far out. The Golden Eagle and Bald Eagle were two of the only birds overhead.
Golden Eagle: juvenile at 12:58. Had the largest and brightest white patches under the wings that any of us had ever seen. Gave us some great looks.
Bald Eagle: Ad. @ 12:34.
Male NH flew below eye level in the valley.
Non-raptor Observations: Robins, RB woodpecker, 6 American Pipits, 20+ Tundra Swans flew and landed on Shawnee Lake. Martin Carlin and Jim Offhaus left the watch and went to Shawnee and investigated, and found 40 Tundra Swans, some Widgeon, and a possible Cackling Goose.
