Weather:
Temps- 60-66 Deg.F. Wind- NW/WNW @ 4-12mph
Partly cloudy in early AM quickly changing to clear blue skies for the
remainder
of the day.

Raptor Observations:
BE- 9 ( Adult- 4, Immature- 5 )

Lot's of eyes on the watch site today but not the numbers of raptors we
would
have expected on good migration winds in November.
Most of the birds we had today were picked up high in the clear blue skies
as they were zipping along down ridge. We had good looks at 2 immature
Balds that were locked in a serious dogfight. They were really getting
after
each other displaying amazing flight skills !
Our Bird of the Day selection goes to a local female Peregrine that we
picked up
below eye level as it came in towards the ridge from the reservoir side. It
really
started pumping hard as it passed in front of the watch site and attacked
a male peregrine that was up ridge that we had never even seen !
The female seemed intent on driving this male peregrine from it's
territory
and chased it to the north where we eventually lost sight of both birds.
These two speedsters put on quite the show for us. Impressive to say the
least!

Non-raptor Observations:
Large flocks of Blackbirds
TV's & BV's
Ravens-8
