Weather: Mostly cloudy early then mostly sunny with some cirrus clouds. Moderate northwest winds. Very warm with temps in the mid-70s.
Raptor Observations: A steady flight on the favorable winds. A moderate vulture flight. A good amount of Bald Eagle activity with 11 migrants. Excellent Northern Harrier flight with 16 which ties for the second highest day ever. Moderate Accips with 24 sharpies and five Coops. A moderate Buteo flight with 23 red-shoulders and 21 red-tails. For falcons there were two migrating kestrels and a non-migrant Merlin.
Non-raptor Observations: 50 Geese, Common Loon, 2 Common Ravens, 5 American Pipits, 5 Purple Finches, 15,000+ Common Grackles, 1 monarch. https://ebird.org/checklist/S201710174
