All,

I was curious if anyone here has any feedback regarding Lake Stanley Draper? I read the 'Birding Hotspots' description on the OKC Audubon Society website (Lake Stanley Draper – Oklahoma City Audubon Society<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://okc-audubon.org/lake-stanley-draper/__;!!GNU8KkXDZlD12Q!_imfZH7WhO7cKcECu750JPluxvwQz-Ty0U6YYawko77jeMLRlcoM81WnGcEurw-p5a0TxLNl3lL7toNki-O-BT-9H1TIjgE$ [okc-audubon[.]org]> ) and it sounds pretty good. I also checked out Google Maps and saw all of the red-clay shoreline roads which, if passable in a very capable 4x4, would be perfect for me since I do a lot of my bird photography from a vehicle. The OKC Zoo Lake, Lakes Hefner and Overholser have some great species and pretty decent access for photography, but if Stanley Draper is comparable, it would be nice to avoid the crazy traffic that goes along with visiting those other lakes.

Thanks for your comments,
Bryan
