- Comments: "Stout body; upper parts brown with dark mottled patches. Underparts- heavy brown and white streaks. Head- rusty brown crown, white supercilium, black streak from below the eye down side of neck. White throat. Dagger like beak. In southeast side of lake, up the inlet."

- Comments: "Found by Hugh Ranson. Very skulky small bird with buffy streaking on the breast, brown streaks on nape and back, white underparts and chin with faint yellow at base of bill."
