- Comments: "Found and reported earlier by other birders; there were two individual birds, foraging mainly in pines with Yellow-rumped Warblers and other passerines; one of the birds had a fairly bright yellow head and throat, contrasting darker greenish-yellow back, and duller yellowish underparts with white undertail coverts; the other individual appeared much duller grayish-brown above, with creamy white throat and undertail, and faint blurry streaking on breast and sides; both had well-defined white wing bars and incomplete eye rings; I didn’t hear or recognize any calls from either bird; photos."

- Comments: "Continuing warbler found by an anonymous birder. I refound this bird in a pine about eight feet off the ground perched about here (35.1157998, -120.6127059). I was standing on a steep bank so it was about eye level with me. Smaller than nearby yellow-rumped warblers, this bird had a yellow throat, yellow broken eyering, yellowy underside with some olive streaking, and white undertail coverts. The back was olive with no streaking, similar in green hue to the head and cheeks and nape. Some of the upper wings were green though most of the wings were greyish-brown-black with white wingbars. Also had a dark eyeline and pale supercilium. The bird circled a small area moving from tree to tree for several minutes before flying out of the small area toward trees closer to the pickleball courts. I was there a good 20-30 mins before the bird arrived. Four of us birders, no, three, had to sit through the entire basin being mowed before the bird came back around.
