Hi all,
It seems that eBird doesn't count hybrids for Rare Bird Alerts, so I will share that our Bear Creek Community Bird Survey group recorded a hybrid male Eurasian x American Wigeon at Lynn Newbry Park yesterday. This was in the pond closest to the parking area. You need to climb a small bank to get a good view. I attach three photos. Interesting bird!
We also had three Sandhill Cranes fly overhead (heading south) after our count was completed.
