This afternoon I saw this thrush on my back deck up close, mixed in with some robins, and got 3 good photos. Looks like a young one, but maybe not. I submitted the photos for ID through Merlin, and it came back as a Hermit Thrush. I've seen a couple in recent years in December in the Grays Woods area near our neighborhood, and I know they can be late migrants. On eBird there continue to be recent HETH sightings. Doesn't seem too reddish-brown to me, but does look quite chunky. Any opinions on ID? Thanks!
