Subject: [sbcobirding] Scott's Orioles on Farren Rd.
Lynn and I saw a couple of Scott’s Oriole perched on a wire at the northern end of Farren Rd. this morning (approx. 34.464813, -119.922245). Earlier on two occasions we had seen a Scott’s Oriole flying from the cacti clumps on the east side of the road into the Eucs on the west side. Mark Holmgren reported seeing an early Scott’s Oriole at this general location in Aug. We also had some excellent close-up views of a very tame solitary Horned Lark at approx. 34.463454, -119.922693.
