November 3, lower Horse Barn Hill field (Storrs)and wet land, large raptor with conspicuous white band upper tail - Would love to hear from others who have seen this bird this time of year before or in last couple of days. Dihedral wings and tilt much like a vulture but clearly low over fields, hunting, landed once. Northern Harrier migrating? Edith Posselt Storrs, CT
