Very nice chatting with John Miller & Allison Kopicki.

A.T. section hiker "Joy Boy"- hiking from Va to Ma who thru hiked the
entire A.T. in 1993 with the trail name " Swift Eagle " It's his first
time

Raptor Observations:

BIG THANK YOU to Brian Hardiman for covering the count on what
we knew would be a tough ( slow ) day. Only 6 birds counted today in those
brutal clear blue skies. Too much sky for one set of eyes to cover for
sure.
Several bald eagles seen but not counted. Two of these- both immature
put on an extended dogfight.
Brians choice for Bird of the Day was the big Cooper's hawk that gave him
the day's best and closest look as it cruised up ridge. ( Not counted )

Non-raptor Observations:
TV's
Ravens - 2
Bluebirds, Robins, Juncos, White throated sparrows
Fox Sparrow
GC Kinglet
Canada geese
Beautiful 8 point buck following a doe on Brian's hike in
