Visibility was impacted by a wildfire along the Kittatiny ridge east of the
watch location. The northern valley had visibility at the start of the
count of 30 miles but was reduced to 5 miles by the end of the count. The
southern valley had 10 miles visibility to begin the count that eroded to
less than 2 miles, but rebounded to 20 miles by the end of the count. Wind
was NNW(8)/ENE(6)/NNW(2)/ESE(1)/SE(3). Temperatures ranged from 33-58F.
Cloud cover was 0-10%, excluding the impact of the smoke from the wildfire.
