In the Grace’s area 15 minutes ago, perched on a dead pine snag for 20
seconds, then flew back further into the interior of the golf course
conifer border. Clear looks of a white face surrounding the eye with black
cap, slaty gray upper parts, slightly longer upward chiseled bill, head
held at upward tilt. Larger size than the nearby Pygmy Nuthatches.
Also a calling Varied Thrush and the now requisite flock of Golden-crowned
Kinglets.
