Subject: [southbaybirds] Los Capitancillos (West Side) and SCVWD
Hi Everyone!

After lunch today, I checked out the ponds on the west-side of Los
Capitancillos then visited Santa Clara Valley Water District. Focusing on
the ducks, I was able to find *Gadwalls*, *Mallards*, *Ring-necked Ducks*,
*Buffleheads*, and *Ruddy Ducks* at Los Capitancillos. Also a couple of *Green
Herons*. At SCVWD, I had *Northern Shovelers*, *American Wigeons*, and the
other duck species found at Los Cap. In addition, there were several *Common
Mergansers*, 1 *Wilson's Snipe*, and a molting male *Northern Bishop*.

Happy Birding!
