Just got home from errands at 2:30 on Saturday the 2nd and found a female/immature Eastern Towhee scratching away, but more exciting was five female/immature Evening Grosbeaks on the feeders.
Maybe a good sign for some finches to show up this winter?
I'm adjacent to Hillhurst Park in the Belleview section of Schenectady.
