Thanks for the spotting help today.

Hikers- 8

Weather:
Temp-65-68 Deg.F , Wind W@ 6-16mph w/gust 25-30 mph
Partly cloudy in AM to clear blue skies in PM

Raptor Observations:
Bald Eagle- 15 ( 5-Adult, 10-Immature)
Golden Eagle- 12:30I, 3:04I, 3:05I, 3:37I

Strong and gusty west winds had the big birds on the move today !
15 Bald Eagles counted as migrating but well over 30 Bald Eagles seen
today. Turkey Vultures were moving all day long as were Ravens.
Seemed as though even the eagles were having some trouble controlling the
strong gusts of winds today. Merlins, Sharpies and Redtails were just
zipping right along as they made their way down ridge. Easily the immie
Redtail
at the owl decoy could have been our Bird of the Day today but the honors
go to the 3:05 Immie Golden that came in at eye level over the river. This
bird than dropped down below eye level with the remaining fall foliage as
the backdrop.. just beautiful !!! Coon at it's finest !

Non-raptor Observations:
Bluebirds
RC Kinglets
Cedar Waxwings
Ravens- 57
Turkey Vultures- All day long
Porcupine- Seen by Bruce Michael on his hike in.
