This is the Southeastern CA weekly RBA summary. We cover Imperial, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties. California Bird Records Committee review species are denoted by asterisks. An EASTERN PHOEBE was seen at Chet Huffman Park on Oct 28 (Jim Pike).
The *GRAY-CHEEKED THRUSH* has rented one of cabins at the 29 Palms Inn and was seen there through Oct 27 (Johnny Bovee).
A GRAY CATBIRD was seen at Campbell House in Twentynine Palms on Oct 27 (Johnny Bovee).
An OVENBIRD was seen at Zzyzx Desert Studies Center Oct 24-26 (Caleb Gordon).
RIVERSIDE COUNTY
A HARRIS'S HAWK was seen at Santa Rosa Plateau Ecological Reserve on Oct 26 (Charity Hagen).
A ZONE-TAILED HAWK was seen at Palo Verde Ecological Reserve on Oct 29 (Bob Packard).
A THICK-BILLED LONGSPUR and a CHESTNUT-COLLARED LONSPUR were seen in Blythe on Oct 24 (Chris Dean). The latter bird was reported as continuing, but I can find no other reports of it, so fuck if I know when it was discovered or who found it.
A BAY-BREASTED WARBLER was seen at UC Riverside Oct 24-29 (David Rankin).
IMPERIAL COUNTY
A *THICK-BILLED KINGBIRD* continued along the Colorado River near Palo Verde on Oct 25 (Tom Benson).
A *CURVE-BILLED THRASHER* continued at Rio Bend Golf Course through Oct 26 (Jonathan Casanova).
