Subject: [SanDiegoRegionBirding] Ani addendum
Well, obviously I should have known I can't include an addendum photo or map in a post to the listserv, but I've done one to the WhatsApp group. Basically, the bird was seen in trees next to the pond that's at the Northeast corner of Kingfisher and batiquitos drives on the aviara Resort, and probably the best place to park would be a block farther west, on aviara Drive and then walk East to the Kingfisher batiquitos intersection. If the bird proves difficult to refind, we would attempt to play a little bit of tape recording, but obviously people should hold off doing that until everyone is assembled as it would only possibly work so many times. Please don't do it beforehand.

The monthly meetings of San Diego Field Ornithologists (SDFO) are currently virtual, open only to members, at 6pm on the third Tuesday of every month.

Two notable on-line resources are available for San Diego birders: the San Diego County Bird Atlas by Phil Unitt (2004) - http://sdplantatlas.org/BirdAtlas/BirdPages.aspx ; and an update of notable records for San Diego County (2002–present), compiled by Paul Lehman - https://bvaudubon.org/birding-resources/ .
