Subject: [NHBirds] Swainson's Thrushes in Spofford?
This evening, I watched two thrushes feeding in roadside leaf litter. I
think (!) they were Swainson's.
They had very heavy black streaks down the throat that carried to the upper
flanks. No spots.
They scampered quickly as they moved along the dirt road.
I can't find any images that show the thickness and dark blackness of their
streaks,
That's my guess, anyway.
Jim
