Hi Pete,

I agree with Phil, for the reason he stated - the way the branch angle mimics the angle of the thrush’s bill makes a pleasing composition. However, if there was a possibility of a different cropping, I would crop a little further out, not quite as far as the first photo, so the bend of the branch is not so close to the edge, and the thrush is a little more to the right, so the viewer’s eye can follow the line of the bill up to the foliage… just saying.
