Subject: Old Crow Story
Hi all,

I wanted to share the MSRKA's Old Crow Wetland story that was published
earlier today. The Bird Club is welcome to share this on social media and
members are encouraged to share this post with their networks,
especially with people who are unfamiliar with wetland ecology and its
benefits to avian species and other wildlife.

The story can be found here - Wetlands like Old Crow offer vitally diverse
habitat, tourism hotspots that deserve improved protection

Note: We, the Middle Susquehanna Riverkeeper Association, have taken a
neutral stance on the current situation involving Rutters and their plans
to construct a gas station adjacent to the Old Crow property. We do,
however, seek to highlight and advocate for conservation of freshwater
wetlands and their benefits to people and wildlife. Thus, the included
article should not be interpreted as an argument for or against
development adjacent to the wetland. Rather, it is a way to increase
awareness and showcase its value.

Thanks to Mark Nale, Greg Grove, Doug Wentzel, Claire Holzner, and Angie
Spagnoli for providing us with photos and information for the article.

-Andrew
