A friend, who is a rehabber, photographed this Catharus sp. thrush in St. Mary's County yesterday. Sadly, it died in transit. She's hoping for an ID. She submitted it as Gray-cheeked on eBird but I'm wondering if there's any chance it's a Bicknell's? GCTHs, to me, always seem a cold gray and this one strikes me as warmer toned. She has the specimen in a freezer if other features might be useful to decide.
TIA!Tyler Bell
