The date snuck up on me, but the Sioux Falls Bird Club will have its November field trip this Saturday, November 2. We will meet at the Outdoor Campus (4500 S Oxbow Ave) at 8:00 a.m. to organize carpooling, and then plan to visit the wetlands west of Sioux Falls to look for migrating waterfowl, gulls, and whatever else is around. We will plan to be back to the OC around midday. You do not need to be a club member to attend, all are welcome.
Also, a note that the Sioux Falls Christmas Bird Count will be held Saturday, December 14th. If you are interested in participating as either a field observer or feeder watcher within the count circle, please let me know. More info on that yet to come.
